On Saturday October 10th following last year’s sell out show, the Why Not? Adventure Film Festival will once again return to An Taibhdhearc for the third consecutive year.
The Irish adventure sport documentary film festival will kick off in Galway with a daylong event combining a workshop, inspiring guest speakers from the world of adventure sport and exploration and a selection of sensational feature length and short films from Ireland and across the globe.

Please note: the theatre charges a restoration fee of .50c per ticket. This is added on to the base price of the tickets when you get to the check out at the end:
1pm Screening 1: Feature Film 1(TBA). Base price: €5
2.30pm Screening 2: Feature Film 2 & Selection of film shorts(TBA). Base price: €8/€6 concession
4.30pm (2hrs) Speakers: Breifne Earley, Paul Sheils, Olive Mc Gloin. Base price: €15/€13 concession
7.30pm (3hrs) Screening 3: Feature Film 3 & Best of WNAFF short film selection (TBA). Base price: €13/€12 concession
DAY PASS RATE = €33 base price (Total price with restoration fee included: €35)

Those in attendance on the night also get to have their say and vote for their favourite film in the ‘Public Choice’ Award and the ‘Mc Conkey’ Award for most inspiring film. Speaking about the event, festival organiser Graham Clarke is keen to point out that “audience engagement is probably the most important aspect of this festival for us. Picking films and speakers that really engage and inspire the audience is what this event is about and we hope through the festival that more people are inspired to undertake their own adventures. No matter how small. That’s why we try to make the event as interactive as we can.”
